2. Specification in choosing mount with port
Athena E-P1 has 2 types of mount.
One is Olympus E mount and another is
Athena new Standards M mount.
Choose one when you buy.
E mount ‘for Four Thirds lens’
It
is usable to the Olympus genuine port and the Athena PTE port.
You can use them as you has ever used the Olympus genuine port and
lens gear and the Athena series PTE port and lens gear
Exchanging E mount for M mount is at our
company.
E mount is for Four Thirds lens and M mount
is for micro Four Thirds lens.
Both body are same design.
The variation of potential will increase in
the future.
We recommend you for compact M mount.
Its flange is short and port is also compact.
This is a new standard mount that is useable to every maker’s micro Four
Thirds lens

in PanasonicOlympus and Leica.

same as the Olympus E mount.

and the Athena PTE port on it without change.
But there are some issues like vignette because of the
length of the port attached on it.
We introduce the compact M port group in series to resolve them!
3. Specification in choosing mount with synchro socket
Athena E-P1 has 2 types of synchro socket. Choose
one when you buy.

One is the Olympus synchro socket to use the Olympus genuine strobe and the other is the Nikonos socket to use the
S&S’s and INON’s strobe. 2 light TTL work on the both.
In the direct communication between the camera and strobe it has the photo
chromatic extreme precision of TTL and you can do stable TTL shoot.
The Olympus genuine socket ‘It is able to do 2
lights TTL.’
Connect the strobe, Olympus UFL-2, PFL-E01’PL-36’, PFL-01’PL-20’ and Olympus synchro code PTCB-E01 and use it.
The distributor is built-in in the housing and it allows
2 lights TTL.
The converter is built-in in the housing and it allows 2 lights TTL.
